The 2nd installment of the America-focused series, I.AM.U.S. is much more declarative and vocal in its demands. These screenprints pair motifs of the American Flag, iconized and anonymized busts of marginalized communities, with the public ad placed by a Japanese American, Frank Tanaka, during the early 1940's at the height of the anti-Japanese sentiment during the war and shortly before Japanese Interment camps were installed throughout the U.S.  Each print is unique and it's composition is never repeated.
